falls is the highest east of the Mississippi River.  They are 811 feet in height.

This falls is located in the Smokey Mountains of east TN.  It can be seen from beside the highway going to Townsend, TN.  This photo was taken in the middle afternoon using a tripod and telephoto lens from the highway.

This falls is near Elk Park in western NC.  Youngsters like to jump off the right side of this falls into the deep pool below.  Above the falls, rainbow trout are plentiful!
